SAD TIDINGS WE BRING

After two excellent West Yorkshire Brass Christmas Concerts at Trinity Church, Ossett and St. Andrew’s Church, Undercliffe, we regretfully have to report the sad passing of Ted Griffiths.

Ted, at various times, was Eb Soprano, Bb Cornet, Librarian and Deputy Musical Director at West Yorkshire Brass and a veritable mine of knowledge about all things Brass Band.

His Funeral will be at 11.30am on Thursday 15th January 2026 at St. Saviour’s Church, Brookroyd Lane, Birstall. WF17 0BU.

Ted will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
